Shooting: Gamo Hunter 1250 .177cal

Following previous weeks airgun introductions are followed by shooting. As targets i have No11 air rifle targets and distance about 10m. I would like to shoot also longer distances like 25-, 50-and 100-meters but sadly this is not possible because of the limitations of space. First we'll use GAMO Hunter 1250 .177cal / 4.5mm air rifle.

Haven't shot with gamo for a long time, Scope needed some adjustment.

First group of five shots aimed in the middle. Scope shows bit too much up and left. I raised it up by three clicks. Size of group is smaller than 20mm.

Next five shots i shot more up, around the six on the target so the holes doesn't mix up. Scope would require bit more adjusting but i did not want to spend the rest of the evening with that. the group size is still less than 20mm.

Aiming points and hits on the target. Two holes on up right are my failed tries to take high speed video at 480fps and 240fps. On the left there are couple holes from pellet fragments.

Next target is more interresting. 0.75mm sheet metal piece i cut to fit the size for the target holder. I will use same piece for all the air rifles so thats why there are the lines. Two shots with each pellet. Pro magnum, rocket and lethal.

First two shots with Pro magnum lead pellets. They won't go through the sheet metal but make a good dent on it.

Next two shots with Gamo Rocket pellets. They go through the metal with not much struggle.

Last two shots with Gamo Lethal and they have no problem going through.

From the other side it's visible that how much easier fast lethal pellets went through the metal.

 Like mentioned on the introduction Hunter 1250 is not the most accurate air rifle. There is alot of power and with proper pellets alot of penetration. Gamo Lethal pellets are accurate and lead free so good choice for the Eco-person.

Next air rifle will be CalibrGun Cricket and  last will be SamYang Dragon Claw. (because it will destroy the metal piece for good.
