Cheap and fast airbrush cleaning pot.

Orjatar saw device like this on youtube video and wanted one for her new airbrush. She asked me if i can make one and tell her how to make on too so i figured a way to do it. It's simple and basically free. You can buy one for around 15-20€ but for starters this does just well. Whole build took me around 15 minutess or less.

What you need.

Required parts. Missing Cloth and piece of wire.

Shooting: Gamo Hunter 1250 .177cal

Following previous weeks airgun introductions are followed by shooting. As targets i have No11 air rifle targets and distance about 10m. I would like to shoot also longer distances like 25-, 50-and 100-meters but sadly this is not possible because of the limitations of space. First we'll use GAMO Hunter 1250 .177cal / 4.5mm air rifle.

Haven't shot with gamo for a long time, Scope needed some adjustment.

Ammutaan: Gamo Hunter 1250 4.5mm

Edellisten viikkojen ilmakivääriesittelyjä seuraa ammunnat. Tauluna on No11 ilmakivääritaulu ja matkana kaikilla noin 10m. Haluaisin myös ampua pidemmiltä matkoilta esim 25- ,50- ja 100-metriä mutta valitettavasti tilanpuutteesta johtuen tämä ei onnistu. Ensimmäisenä ammuntavuorossa on GAMO Hunter 1250 4.5mm ilmakivääri.

Pitkään aikaan ei Gamolla olekkaan tullut ammuttua ja kiikari kaipaisi vähän kohdistusta.

Elämää linnunpöntössä / Life in the birdhouse.

Ensimmäiset asunnonetsijät ovat jo käyneet kurkistamassa miltä kameralla varustetun linnunpöntön sisällä näyttää, mutta vakiasukasta ei vielä ole ilmaantunut. Toistaiseksi orava ja talitiaiset ovat sitä käyneet kurkkimassa. Katsotaan kuka pönttöön muuttaa. Uppailen videoita visiiteistä Youtubeen sitä mukaan kun pöntössä käydään. First home seeksers have already visited and taken a look how it looks inside the birdhouse with camera but nobody has yet settled in there. For now squirrel and great tits have visited. Ilmakivääri KalibrGun Cricket Bullpup 5.5mm / .22cal

KalibrGun Cricket Bullpup ilmakivääri on kolmas ja uusin hankintani. Ase on kaliiperiltaan 5.5mm tai .22. Ase on paineilmatoiminen, eli aseen paineilmasäiliöön pumpataan paine, jonka jälkeen ase on käyttövalmis. Painetta Crickettiin voi pumpata 300bar asti, mutta oma pumppuni ei valitettavasti kykene kuin 250barin. Ase on reguloitu, eli jokainen laukaus lähtee haluttua vauhtia siitä huolimatta oliko säiliössä 200 vai 300 bar painetta. Yhdellä täytöllä ampuu helposti kahdeksan rullaa tyhjäksi. Yhden rullan koko on 14 luotia, joten tämä tarkoittaa yli 112 laukausta per täyttö.

Airgun KalibrGun Cricket Bullpup 5.5mm / .22cal

KalibrGun Cricket Bullpup my third and newest purchased airgun. It's 5.5mm or .22 cal. It works with air pressure meaning you pump the air cylinder full and then you are ready to shoot. You can pump up to 300bar into this gun, sadly my pump is only capalbe reaching about 250bar. Air pressure in the gun is regulated meaning that all shots leave the barrel at the same speed even if the pressure varies. With one filling you can shoot 8 "magazines" empty. Size of one magazine is 14 pellets so this means over 112 shots per filling.

Air rifle Sam Yang Dragon Claw 12.7mm / .50cal

Sam YangDragon Claw. Second airgun i've purchased and my first PCP-gun.(PCP = Pre Charged Pneumatic) Because who would always want to shoot small .177/.22cal bullets when you can just as well shoot some .50cal bullets. And it's true. Really half inch or 12.7mm diameter bullets, leaving from the barrel of an air rifle over 200m/s or 680fps doing over 300 joules of force at the barrel. This is comparable to .22 rimfire rifles, though they have smaller bullet size with same force they have better penetration.

These Big Bore airrifles have smallish userbase since bullets are not cheap, 0.5-1€ each and the airgun itself is nearly 900€ in finland. In finland they are used mostly for plinking and shooting siluets 25, 50, 75 and 100m/yard of distance. On Youtube you can find videos of such siluet shooting. Outside finland they are used also for hunting for example wild boars. In finland you need a permission to purchase / own the airgun.

Ilmakivääri Sam Yang Dragon Claw 12.7mm / .50cal

Sam YangDragon Claw. Toinen hankkimani ilma-ase ja ensimmäinen PCP-aseeni. (PCP = Pre Charged Pneumatic, Esitäytettävä paineilma.) Koska kukapa haluaisi aina ampua pieniä 4.5/5.5mm luoteja kun voi hyvin pistää tauluun myös isoja 12.7mm reikiä. Kyllä yli sentin halkaisijan lyijyluoteja ilmakivääristä reilun 200m/s lähtönopeudella luoden piipnsuulta yli 300 joulen iskuvoiman. Tämä vastaa pienoiskiväärin tehoa. (Pienoiskiväärillä pienempi luoti jossa samalla iskuvoimalla myös parempi läpäisevyys.)

Näillä Bir Bore ilmakivääreillä on pienehkö käyttäjäkunta sillä ampuminen ei ole mitenkään halpaa, luodit ovat 0.5-1€ kappale eikä asekkaan 900€ hinnalla ole halpa. Näillä ammutaan esimerkiksi siluettiammuntaa 25, 50,75 ja 100m matkalta. Esimerkkiä siluettiammunnasta löytyy Youtubesta. Ulkomailla kyseistä asetta käytetään myös esimerkiksi villisian metsästykseen. Kyseinen ase on Suomessa nykyään luvanvarainen hankittava.

Air Rifle GAMO Hunter 1250 4.5mm / .177cal

 Gamo hunter 1250 or hunter by short is my first self purchased airgun. It's one of the most powerfull spring powered air rifles on the market. 4.5mm(or .177cal) bullet leaves the barrel at 1250fps and it will break the sound barrier while fyling causing loud bang even after the suppressor in front of the barrel. With hevier bullet you can reduce and even get rid of the sonic boom.

At the front of the barrel with GAMO PRO MAGNUM Penetration-pellets (0.49g / 7.56gr) rifle generates 35.57joules of force. With lighter pellets like for example GAMO LETHAL pellets you get lower force but better penetration.

Ilmakivääri GAMO Hunter 1250 4.5mm / .177cal

Gamo hunter 1250 tai tuttavallisemmin Huntteri on ensimmäinen itse ostamani ilma-ase. Ase on yksi markkinoiden tehokkaimmista jousitoimisista ilmakivääreistä. 4.5mm luoti lähtee piipusta 380m/s ja rikkoo äänivallin lentäessään aiheuttaen kovan pamauksen piipun äänenvaimentimesta huolimatta. Painavammillla luodeilla tämän yliäänipamauksen saa vältettyä.

Piipunsuulta GAMO PRO MAGNUM Penetration-luodeilla (0.49g / 7.56gr) ase tuottaa 35.57joulen iskuvoiman. Kevyemmillä luodeilla esim GAMO LETHAL luodeilla iskuvoima on pienempi, mutta läpäisykyky on parempi.
