Uudet oravanpoikaset kamerapöntössä. // New squirrel babies in the birdhouse.

Orava on päättänyt pesiä pöntössä toistamiseen tänä kesänä.

Squirrel has decided to nest in the birdhous for the second time this year. The babies are now about couple days old and not moving much, staying covered under the soft and warm stuff. Feel free to follow the growth of the babies and mother's doings on the livestream in youtube or in the embedded player.

Pitkä tauko. Kesäksi palataan. Oravanpoikasia linnunpöntössä! // Long break. Returning for the summer. Squrrels in the birdhouse!

Pahoittelut pitkästä julkasutauosta. Elämä internetin ulkopuolella otti otteeseensa ja bloggaaminen jäi. Odotellessa on linnunpönttöön siunaantunut oravanpoikasia. Livestreami toivottavasti toimii.

Apologizes for the long break between the posts. Real life attacked from back left and had no time to blog. Well while we had that squirrels have had babies in the birdhouse. Hopefully the livestream works.

Elämää linnunpöntössä / Life in the birdhouse.

First home seeksers have already visited and taken a look how it looks inside the birdhouse with camera but nobody has yet settled in there. For now squirrel and great tits have visited. Let's see who moves in and makes nest there. I'll be uploading videos to Youtube when visitors come and go. I have attached video of squirrels visit here.

HD Birdhouse.

Spring comes. And birds and in finland we got this challenge to make one milion birdsnes during 2016 so i decided to make my own.

I had previously bought 720P ip-camera for this purpose, so i decided now it's good time for this. Birdhouse is made for bigger bird or for a squirel. Inner dimensions are 20x20x50cm. There is chance that small owl, jackdaw or squirel will live in it.

I started by getting some 22x150mm lumber from K-rauta.
